American golfer Chesson Hadley had a four stroke lead going into the final day at this weekend’s Palmetto Championship at Congaree. All he had to do was shoot par on the day and he would have taken home his first PGA win since his rookie year, 2014.
Hadley was +4 on Sunday, leading the way to the first victory for the South African Garrick Higgo. Higgo is only 22 years old and now has his first PGA win.
Chesson Hadley (all time bad name, by the way) has arms the size of string beans and looks more like a lamp post than he does a professional athlete.
It was an embarrassing finish for Hadley, who finished with bogeys on the last three holes. This cost him a win, as he went from -13 and the lead, to -10 and a tie for second place.
