For some reason, former Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Tim Tebow is getting a shot at making the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end.
His former head coach at the University of Florida, Urban Meyer, is of course now the head coach of the Jaguars.
Tebow, 34, hasn’t been on an NFL regular season roster since 2012, but is for some reason being given an opportunity to make it back in the league after a failed minor league baseball career.
Tebow was very bad as an NFL quarterback. He completed about 47% of his passes and was comically inaccurate.
He might be worse as a tight end, however.
What is this?
Jiminy Christmas, that’s pathetic.
If Tebow makes the roster, I don’t think it’s a stretch to make a case that Urban Meyer should be fired before he even coaches a real game.
The league can only hope that Trevor Lawerence’s development isn’t ruined because of this.
