Tampa Bay Lightning finish off Carolina Hurricane to advance to Eastern Conference Finals

Last night Andre Vasilevskiy and the Tampa Bay Lightning shut out the Carolina Hurricane 2-0 to finish off the series four games to one.

Brayden Point and Ross Colton scored the goals for the Lightning.

Tampa Bay will play the winner of the Bruins and Islanders series in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Lightning were the Stanley Cup Champions last season and are looking for a repeat. The last repeat champions were the Pittsburgh Penguins who did won the cup in 2016 and 2017.
