Cleveland Indians lanky right handed starter, Triston McKenzie, was nearly perfect against the Tigers on Sunday. He had a perfect game going into the eighth inning, but lost it due to a Harold Castro single with two outs in the bottom of the eighth.
Coming into the game, McKenzie had a 4.92 ERA in his career. He has always been great against the Tigers, however, with a 1.20 ERA in three starts against Detroit.
He has now pitched 23 innings against the Tigers, allowing only 2 runs on 10 hits, with 29 strikeouts.
It is safe to say, he has thoroughly dominated them over his young career so far.
